Thee Na Sidhe Challenge entry

I used some old Irish names and adapted them e.g. Thee Na Sidhe comes from ‘bean sidhe’ a banshee. I thought they would make good characters in the fight between good and evil.

Thee Na Sidhe Challenge entry belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

An Ocean of energy
Manifested in the physical world
Flashes in and out of existence
Through our thoughts we forge that energy
Into reality

Thee Na Sidhe becomes female
Her wailing warns of death to come
To the old house
While Kobol shakes the foundations
And Leipreachan his ugly brother
Brings thunder and pounding rain

Cunning in the ultimate way
They conspire against Mankind
Against the fools who gave them form
The Strangeness and Charm
That will bring the old house down

Hob paints symbols on the crumbling walls
A Demonic decorator
Challenged by the Faerie
To no effect

Evil approaches from her left hand
Takes her to her own Never land
Evil has no shame
He will come again

Mankind blighted
By this hideous plague
The final hope
Comes down to prayer

The Fallen Angel
Knows his time has come
Depravity and sin
Has now begun

The prayers of Man
Flash in and out of existence
Like a lighthouse
In the distance

Thee Na Sidhe
And her hoards
Fight long and hard
Against prayers rewards

The heavens open
Lightning comes
Light in the darkness
Storms subside
Seas become calm
Prayers upon prayers
Summon The Angel
Who has watched
And waited until
Mankind has called
Their faith is their reward

Thee Na Sidhe
Crumbles into the Banshee
She had become
Thrown back to the fallen one

Prayer and Faith
So long to learn
Will save Mankind
On this island Earth

    TRACY BAGNALL

a prophecy for our times?? I have a picture of hell and the end of days, A dark thunderous picture with waves crashing and eroding mankind who is clinging to a rock.
    Very powerful and well written.

  • Andrew Price replied

Yes, you you have summed it up with those kind of dark images.
    Thank you Trace

I shall steal it anyway, I may be able to produce a scetch of my idea but the detail would be a lifetimers work, don’t be disappointed.

  • Andrew Price replied

Hey Trace, I know you will do your best :)
    Peace
