Tubular Bells, The Exorcist and Houses of the Holy

Who would have thought that a record where Michael Oldfield told me that I was listening to a “Grand Piano!” or “Tubular Bells!” would have become a big hit?
I pondered the question as I swung lazily in my hammock, sipping the freshly made Tequila Sunrise. I wiped the condensation from the side of the frosty glass and anointed my troubled brow. The music industry can be so fickle. I know I shouldn’t complain, it was music after all that paid for the lifestyle I’ve become accustomed too, but it was music that also fed my ego. Now that this upstart had been lucky enough to have his music linked with that popular new horror movie, it seemed all the attention was on him.
I called for another tequila. Surely people will come to their senses! ‘Houses of the Holy’ will be number one; or my name isn’t Robert Plant!
