This is a photograph of an old guy I spotted across the road from me outside Morrison’s Bar on the Broomielaw in Glasgow while I was there for a days photography trip. I decided to go over and ask him if I could take his picture – he was delighted (although rather inebriated) and told me to fire away. I took only one photograph and was delighted that just as I was framing up, he pulled the cigarette to his mouth.

No doubt he could tell a few stories of his life…..
