These were specially designed Pilot Craft much used in Cornwall during times past. Racing the craft has developed over the past few years into a popular sport. The International Annual Gig Olympics are held in The Isles of Skilly. The sport is spreading with entries arriving from other areas of the UK, Brittany and elsewhere in Europe.
