This is a goodbye – sort of….

Posted almost 4 years ago

And the catalyst was guilt due to the lack of time. The workload on my record company and my healing work has increased dramatically. Sixteen hour days now, up from twelve as has the bulk of artwork from my friends appearing in the Bubble. (sometimes I sleep, LOL).

And there lies the problem – I cant keep up with the submissions to the
Bubble – hence feelings of guilt. I loved commenting on other…

HDR 2

Posted about 4 years ago

Well that was quick – got a result from my good friend Richard Veal.

Regarding the hdr, I tried it with CS3, and it took for ever, and the outcome was, well, cr@p.

I come across a programme called Dynamic Photo HDR on the net. You can download a trial version, and it only cost £25 for the full programme. Have a look at Catherines work to get an idea. Also, it will do an hdr from 1 pic.

Its…

HDR

Posted about 4 years ago

Any one who would like to have a bash at HDR there is a good tutorial here -

http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/hdr...

Can be done with any digi camera and a good tripod. Only drawback is that you also need Photoshop CS2 or above.

Altho there are prob other programmes around that would do. Google wlll doubtless reveal all.

Have fun – I’m going to. First I need to find my …

Goodbye Arizona (followed by a disaster)

Posted about 4 years ago

AZ was wonderful (again). We decided to stay local this time so a typical day would be to set off in the morning somewhere…err….local like one of the national parks, a zoo at one point, a copper mining town (looking for Cornish immigrants or descendents there of), sitting in spiritual vortex’s for a meditate, or just looking for photo opportunities. Then coz eating out is so che…

'WHEN' and 'WHEN NOT TO' add a frame to a pic.

Posted over 4 years ago

Hi Everyone

Wayne Holman, whose excellent work can be found at:

http://www.redbubble.com/people/wayneholman

made the following comment on my pix

http://www.redbubble.com/people/andyreeve/art/7...

“I don’t think you need the frame though mate it’s good enough as it is………..”

Well that stopped me dead in my tracks.

After someone pointed out a while back that…

Sorreeeeeee!!!!!

Posted over 4 years ago

Sorry everyone – not been around much. I suddenly got overwhelmed by stuff for my record company and getting ready for my Second Great Arizona Adventure. I leave the UK next week. OMG where did that go. Seems only a couple of days ago it was a month to my departure.

Will be back mid March and expect a big hit of AZ pics. LOL.

I shall miss y’all.

Hugs

Red Bubble - Taking it to the next level.

RedBubble – Taking it to the next level?

Why are we here?

a) A platform in which to exhibit our artwork
b) A place to admire and be inspired by the work of others.
c) Ultimately we would all like to sell our work.

I am very pleased to note that lately the Bubble is also becoming a social network. I wait for the comments from such as Meach ready to fall off my chair with laughter.

But unlike Faceboo…

Addition to Noah and the Ark

Posted over 4 years ago

I should hastily add that I did not write the Noah bit. It came to me via the web and sat there. Till Nathan Jonson put up an article yesterday about the Death of Common sense. Thought Noah would add weight to his article.
Sorry should have made that clear in the first place.

Noah and another Hmmmmmmm

Posted over 4 years ago

In the year 2007 the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in England,

and said:

“Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see

the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save two of every

living thing along with a few good humans."

He gave Noah the CAD drawings, saying: "You have 6 months to build the

Ark before I will start the unending rain …
