Faltopia Waterfront 2

This is me popping back rather earlier than expected. Everybody OK?

Am here as this is my first night shot with the new camera.

Have a look at the buidings on the right of the picture. (view larger). There is some noise there on the walls. Tried everything listed in the noise filter. (Photoshop) but to no avail. Can anyone help?

Taken on the water front at Falmouth UK.

Andy, This is lovely, Looks like your new camera is going to serve you well – What camera did you get?

  • AndyReeve replied

Hi Alex, Financially challenged (story of my life. LOL) I did manage to save up for a Sony A200 DSLR. I love it. I haven’t taken it to bed yet, but I am in love. Hehehe
It has so many bells and whistles that I am having to learn to be a proper photographer.

haha I am the same with my new camera, it was so hard to decide between the alpha350 and the canon 450D, I also have to learn that reading the manual is a must, this new camera of mine has so much more features, it scares me lol

    Great pic Andy.

As for noise, if you had the ISO up high, that is the price you pay unfortunately.

Hey Andy, it looks like you are on the film set for the new James Bond movie, LOL. Another wonderful shot my friend and I am so glad you are getting it together with your new camera you both are working well together. I love the warm night tones here and the reflections are fantastic. I never worry about the noise in a shot sometimes it can add to the finished photo adding atmosphere, ambience, mood, a general feeling and tone to your work and I don’t think it is a problem here.

Many thanx Tony and thanx for the comment on noise….MOOD – thoughtful
