This shot still mystifies me! I have no idea how I ended up with the effect, maybe I adjusted the lens mid-shot, but the result, I think, is great!! This carved demon seems to be rushing out of the image at you, plenty of movement.

The carving was seen in Roslyn (Roslin) Chapel just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. The church has recently been made famous after it featured heavily in Dan Browns’ “The DaVinci Code”
