Veronica wiped Christ’s face as he walked with the cross and his face was imprinted with His blood on the cloth.

I Googled Veronica’s Veil and found it surrounded by controversy. What is the history of this one in St Patrick’s Cathedral? Was it a copy from a Vatican Canon?

Yes, it’s only a mosaic artwork representing the original.

The real one looks much different, this one is artistic and it is a
tremendous work.

Glad you like the candles, at first I thought they were in the way but
too far into the photo to crop, then I thought the candles could represent people as light and they also add to the depth.
