Barracks Home on Bay
Shapely winter trees and an old deserted sidewalk leads to this 19th century, yellow brick barracks home on Sandy Hook bay. Fort Hancock was an important
base during World War 2 as it was used to protect New York Harbor from German submarines. The home was part of “officers row” and they were designed by renowned architect Sanford White.
