Most Things Look Better When You Put Them In a Circle

We protest in a silent way, we let them know our feelings by letting them ignore us, they continually raise taxes and raise the cost of living, letting the poor stay poorer and the rich even richer, we pay more than continental europe for anything, we pay way more than america for anything, the big question is what are we going to do about it? or an even bigger question, is there anybody who actually cares about it?

Most Things Look Better When You Put Them In a Circle belongs to the following groups:

West Midlands UK

I am wrapped up in a rectangle, taking notes
Whilst there are thousands who wander by, expressing no emotion
The consumer comes first, well not if British Gas have anything to do with it
Shell are counting their change and organising their Christmas party
We parade like its Sunday, the day of rest, or so it would seem
Though workaholics don’t rest, they just twitch till its Monday
And the few that do care, are silent in the walk
Holding banners that proclaim we can protest at this world
You can buy an official T-shirt, but doesn’t that miss the point
Wearing memorabilia that says “I was here” and gave what to the community?
Your banners and flyers are like a silent film to the I-Pod generation
Like standing up for your constituents by sitting in your seat

I am wrapped in my own life, making notes
Circling words that I like, circling sentences that I might write in large letters
So I can hold my banner up with the sign that gets on the news
I can be famous for standing up and not saying a thing
There are people that walk and wonder we’re saying
It gets lost in the moment, gets lost amongst Amy Winehouse gossip
We carry on venturing to the pump, shelling out more loose change
A very British way of shrugging your shoulders in a nonchalant way
A Great British triumph, we just block out the bad
Keep letting guys pull our pants down and our hats over our eyes
What is the point in being polite if they consisently ignore us
Lets riot like the French, maybe there’s some democracy in anarchy??
