The Marching Band of Greater London

An angry response to the commons vote on the referendum for the EU treaty, which we were promised and are now not getting our chance to vote because it has “changed” slightly, it is also an angry response to Nick Clegg’s idiotic approach at this commons vote by ordering his party to remain seated till all votes were cast as part of a demonstration, thus hindering the chance of defeating the government, I do not believe that as part of a democracy we should be forced into a treaty we have not got the right to say “NO” to.

The Marching Band of Greater London belongs to the following groups:

West Midlands UK

We sit to take our place in history
Alongside the greats that conquered the stage
That stood up and were counted
But not like us, we refused to be part of a democracy
We arranged our seating plan the moment we made parliament
And the balance of power has never shifted left
Contemplating euthanasia is a sin to god that was created
To deflect the blame from mistakes mankind often makes
So where’s our referendum?
A flag so black, its almost charring
Suffocated by the noose that is worn by your local constituents
We will not hear your piece, we are the select majority
We occupy this seat in our countries great history
We offer you a chance to be apart of this legacy
Do we stand up and be counted or hold ourselves accountable?
For denying the people a piece of 21st century freedom of speech
We arranged the seating plan the moment we made parliament
There’s always one empty seat where George Galloway was sitting
The protest is not meant to be at the ideology behind the treaty
It’s at the negligance at the fore, telling us to get behind our party
So where’s our referendum?
A flag so black, its almost charring
Suffocated by the noose that is worn by your local constituents
We will not hear your piece, we are the select majority

Strong piece so full of a sense of frustration and “Political correctness” versus rightness/riteness [and I am not meaning the language! I’m meaning the policies that the institution of politics has devised as their smoke screen!]
Look out a bubblemail is about to descend upon you lol !!!
[I like soap boxes!!! but then I’m short! lol]
