Face Paint

About hiding behind a wall of emotion and having your troubles take over your actions.

Face Paint.
It comes off, It goes on.
You wear it to hide the truth.
Giving up your thoughts for another glass.
The bottle soon follows.
All that remains are pieces of your dignity.
Slowly slipping down the plughole.
With the face paint.
It comes off, It goes on.
Another day, another reason to forget.
Giving up your cares for another pint.
There is more sure to follow.
All that remains are pieces of your innocence.
Laying screaming in blood on the floor.
With the face paint.
It comes off, It goes on.

Nice work. So full of emotion. And has a nice flow to it.
