A very early start to a location located towards the northern fringes of Dartmoor, twas a very frosty morn registering -3 deg
The site currently consists of 23 stones still standing with another 11 fallen and has a 27 meter diameter, the tallest stone being 2.5 metres high.
It is thought that the original circle consisted of more than 60 granite stones.
The view shown is towards the north-west as this was producing the better sunrise colours in the sky.
