One of the more prominent features of Dartmoor is a small church perched at the top of Brentor, known as St. Michael de la Rupe. There are various versions of how the tiny church became to be built clinging precariously to the outcrop of rock.
Built circa between 1155 and 1162.
I havnt visit this location for some time now so I feel that a return to the west side of Dartmoor is looking favourable.
