    you know how i feel about your art and i’m out of good enough adjectives… : )
    the chef wears the soup of the day on his hands and face… ;P
    and the back left is missing some information but i believe the great mind of yours did that on purpose and makes me wonder why…. love that red(including the bottle top)… love everything….. : )

  • Thanks Mimi, I wanted to keep this painting predominantly blue/grey so that the colour of that red/orange tomato soup would stand out as much as possible. Now looking at the back left area I wonder if I could have added in some saucepans hanging down from a rack or something… interesting thought – appreciate your feedback :)

    Love it as is, especially the reflected red light from he food in the pot on his hands and face… it gives it a sense of heat and is enough of a focal point nothing else needs to be said… it says to me if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen.
