I love this photo. My husband and I saw this same outcropping when we were on our way to visit my parents and I took a photo of it about 5 years ago, on film, from the moving car. Haven’t been up that way for about 3 years, now. Nicely done – I lovely the storm clouds in the background.

how good is this? I have looked at this several times now (don’t know why :) and apart from the obvious lol!!! i love this for the lighting the sense of scales with the tree and sheep and i love the dark sky against the beautifully lit ground – this is a really beautiful image.

Great image. I took a photo some years ago back in Corsica that has a stone arrangement similar to this, but it was much smaller. This is awesome and I do not refer to the tree, the sheep or the panoramic view! LOL

I have to confess, I didn’t notice the title when I first saw this image – all I saw was the image I had become familiar with and wondered “was it really the same one?” Obviously it does work. Still chickling!!!!

Thank goodness I was supposed to notice that. It’s an all-around lovely image for other reasons, too … and I was going to point out, for a more innocent eye, that the rock (also) looks like a perfect fairy-tale mushroom. :)
