I don’t get it.. something to do with the sheep? Sorry.. joking! Wonderful work Andrea.. the lighting and processing in this are spot on, and you obviously have an eye for those little things (or big) that stand out!
I love this photo. My husband and I saw this same outcropping when we were on our way to visit my parents and I took a photo of it about 5 years ago, on film, from the moving car. Haven’t been up that way for about 3 years, now. Nicely done – I lovely the storm clouds in the background.
how good is this? I have looked at this several times now (don’t know why :) and apart from the obvious lol!!! i love this for the lighting the sense of scales with the tree and sheep and i love the dark sky against the beautifully lit ground – this is a really beautiful image.
Great image. I took a photo some years ago back in Corsica that has a stone arrangement similar to this, but it was much smaller. This is awesome and I do not refer to the tree, the sheep or the panoramic view! LOL
I have to confess, I didn’t notice the title when I first saw this image – all I saw was the image I had become familiar with and wondered “was it really the same one?” Obviously it does work. Still chickling!!!!
Thank goodness I was supposed to notice that. It’s an all-around lovely image for other reasons, too … and I was going to point out, for a more innocent eye, that the rock (also) looks like a perfect fairy-tale mushroom. :)
Thank you Geoffrey, Itruskett, Clarkey, and Jen :) Clarkey, it was taken between Heathcote and Lancefield, and yep, something in the water here. Awwww, a mushroom, I didnt think of that Jen, oppps, I only saw one thing!
Needed some mega pixels for this one huh? And there I was thinking this sort of depiction was banned here…I guess even the powers that be can’t argue with nature’s ‘artisitc’ design. Lol
well maybe – he’d count the sheep for you! lol :o)
Brilliant work gal loved the colours, the thunder clouds and the tree and no I didn’t see the obvious until I read the comments – but isn’t that a rabbit in the foreground corner? rotten little multipliers them :o) lol
ah aha ha is there anything left to say??...this is just an amazing panorama, nature erotic shot and awesome general photograph….ha ha ha very humorous, love it!...where is this?
Aari
But it’s a real nice dramatic photo as well and they grow real big mushrooms over there. I love it. Wonders are in little things…...... and in large things as well.
Wow Andrea, we have a similar rock on our farm in Gooram. I don’t like to boast but I think ours is bigger(lol), I will put a photo up one day. Great image.
Now that I have me a decent camera, I’ll have to find an excuse to go visit my parents via the Lancefield road and find a safe place to pull up and take a few more pics – on digital this time. LOL God, I loved this spot when i first saw all the sheep and then Nature’s whimsy! It really does give me a good laugh every time i see it! :-))
Angela Stewart
