Thanks Jessica and Charles. These are my favorite bugs. I’ve been blessed to have them in my gardens for 5 years. This particular one lives right outside the front door along with 3 others. I was checking on her that morning because she mated the day before (wanna see pics? lol). PS, her boy friend was also nearby later that day. He looked a little ragged but intact. I hope to get more and better shots in the coming weeks. The pink sedums make a nice backdrop.
