Air, Water, Rock IV
Another study from Air, Water, Rock series
This time taken at Crescent Head, one of the best places for coastal photography, there are so many different rock formations. I really like light and contrast here. It was taken late morning when the sun was up high, so it was very bright and the number of filters was used to slow down the exposure and to get the balance between the very bright areas and the shade. I hope it works.

Wow – an image of contrasts, light and dark, sharp and smooth. Well done TR! :)
Tatiana R replied
Thank you AG! I stuffed up one day (I think it was the same afternoon) wasting time climbing that big headland and taking photos of the migrating whales. I didn’t realise that if I don’t have at least 600 mm, preferably prime, it is pretty much pointless. At least here I think I spent time useful, as the light was good, but multiple filters is such a pain! LOL :-)
The same spot in colour, how different it looks!

The sheen of bright sunlight on this almost subeterranean land/seascape. Rough and edgily gorgeous. Not sure I’d want to live there but I’m delighted to gaze upon it via your artistry.
