Search for the Three Sisters

This morning in the Blue Mountains, Katoomba, Echo Point. Foggy. Very foggy. So foggy there were no tourists for a while, only few lonely desperate photographers. After a long search, dropping to a local bakery and asking the same question: “So, where is the scenery?”

On days like that you can only try and imagine what they look like. Living in the Mountains I know too well what it’s like when you decide to head to the top expecting some beautiful scenery. Unfortunately the fog rolls in and the only sight to be seen are the coffee houses. Good to see you took advantage of the fog and got this great shot.

Thank you Lorraine! I’ve always wanted to live in the Blue Mountains, it is such a beautiful place, and I know that after a day like today the fog eventually lifts and the scenary is breathtaking, like this shot that I took on the evening after a day just like today. Thank you for your comment and for adding me to your watchlist, sorry I didn’t acknowledge earlier, I haven’t been on RB for a while.

Wow, I love images like these! You did fantastic with this one!

  • Tatiana R replied

Thank you so much Andy and for your favouring! Interestingly enough I almost hid that photo a couple of days ago as I try to keep my gallery small. After adding new works, I usually check the older photos with little response and hide them after a while. That one is one of my personal favourites so it stayed. Cool! :-)
