A Confession

I am equal part human and a species not from this planet.. well, not for a while anyway.

Yes, creatures have visited me from another world and all that sort of crap. It’s no big deal to me anymore. No one sticks probes up anyone’s arse or anything so disgusting those days are long gone. They just examine my body every now and again and do an occasional genetic alteration. I don’t really know why, it’s not like I sit down to coffee and cake with them. Maybe they’re checking out how the two species are blending or some shit like that.

So there you go. Oh, in case your wondering. I look completely human and have no super powers or not even an amazing IQ, which is 130. There are couple of tricks I can do.

Occasionally I can pick up your thoughts moments before you speak. It can last as much as a few minutes but then might not happen for days. Actually it’s more annoying than anything else because I’ll start to answer before you’ve opened your gob to speak. Oh yeah, my other little trick is I’ve gone to grab a glass and it’s moved. Some times three or four inches. Not really a party trick though because when I concentrate on doing it, nothing happens.

Well I just wanted to get that off my chest and you the reader can go on with the rest of your day and give no more thought to this confession. Why should you?

My wife, who is exactly like me. Is calling, so I’m off to change some nappies.

Oh before I go, one snippet you may be interested in is the human population is to be trimmed by two thirds. Not a fact but a strong rumour.
