I love the detail of the gargoyles on top of Notre Dame. The fact they are so old and have survived so long is a testament to the craftsmen of that time.

I was so inspired by Victor Hugo’s Notre Dame when I was a child…. to this day it remains one of the driving forces behind my longing to see Paris…. That, & my love of Impressionism.

There are a few images on bubble of this exact gargoyle and the Tower. I like this, the gargoyle detail and lighting is perfect and you can’t do better than that!
