I took this shot of a juvenile gorilla from the Amahora group consisting of 17 members. It was located in the Parc National du Volcans in Rwanda. The trek to reach the group was tough, but worth every effort. To look at our distant cousins in the eyes is something that will stay with me forever.

    I saw many interesting reportages about the gorillas of Rwanda too. So touching eyes (quite human). Wonderful portrait.
