About Andrew Trevor-Jones

I have been participating in photography in one form or other since I was very young. It has been a passion that has not left me.

Most of my photographs are of natural subjects both above and below the water, with macro photography being my favourite.

I use Nikon gear and Ikelite housings.

It is a cool little fella. roughly how small was this one Andrew?

  • Yeah, it was pretty cool, Colin. I guess it would have been 6-8 cm long.

Amazing disguise! I’m guessing they change colour in response to their environment?

  • I’m not aware of them being able to change colour other than lightening or darkening. I believe a red/pink one will always be red/pink but can just go pale of dark.

Nice colours ATJ! Love these guys but Im yet to get a decent shot of one

  • I know what you mean, Steve. I have photographed them many times and have only a few shots that I would call decent. This other one is probably my best – and even then I wish I could do better.

Nice, I’ve never seen a pink one

  • It was a first for me, too. I didn’t even know they came in pink.

    Must be a girl :)
Your “other one” is fantastic and this is close to it, especially when viewed larger !

  • Thanks, Trish. I just wish I could of got in closer. I remember I was getting left behind by the group at this point of the dive.
