grey nurse shark, carcharias taurus, 2013, sydney, underwater, d7000

I have been participating in photography in one form or other since I was very young. It has been a passion that has not left me.

Most of my photographs are of natural subjects both above and below the water, with macro photography being my favourite.

I use Nikon gear and Ikelite housings.

did he come to say hello? I’ve been close to them before and they are the most docile of the shark family, but this pov wouldn’t have me feeling like I’d want to go and give him a pet ~ great shots as always xx

  • I think it is a she. :) They are pretty docile – I think you guys call them sand tigers. They don’t worry me at all. In fact, it is fun to be amongst them. We had 10-20 swimming around us.
