Lord Lead Me Not Into Temptation by Andrew Rossington

Lord Lead Me Not Into Temptation by

This image could be interpreted in many different ways. It could be symbolic of the disconnection between religion and nudity – male and female. It could also be a man’s personal struggle against his inner desires and basic instincts. The tattoo across Seans back is so fitting for this image.

The image was captured at Tony Ryans Empowered Beauty workshop and this was Sean and Tania’s first work together and first time as nude subjects. During the session, Sean was able to immerse himself and open himself to the experience. Tania found it more difficult and this image shows the two different states they were in at the time. Both did an amazing job for first timers.

Fair and true comments I think Andrew.Very interesting points raised in my opinion.I think that nudity and intimacy is the most powerful aspect of relationship. As such it can test the inner strength of a person as much as anything. To me the strongest man is one who can remain humble and gentle when exposed to the most powerful external factors.

  • Thanks Tony, I like your comments re the strongest man and being humble and gentle. Food for thought.

Tender yet so powerful – magic composition and symbolism – Love this piece Andrew

  • Thanks John! It has a certain element of tenderness which I really feel we don’t see too often.

One of those awesome photos when everything works together – light, composition, the models, even the coincidence of the tattoo – well done.

  • Thanks Jesse, amazingly I didn’t read the tattoo until the nearly the end of the session, at which point this shot was taken!
