During our recent visit to Barrington Tops, My wife Miriam and I spent a day driving around Gloucester. the drive into the Barrington Tops NP takes you over several fords. We were comming back late from the NP so the light was getting warmer so I stopped at one of the better fords to take some images. Taken with a Nikon D300 using the 18-200VR lens set at f8. The low sun still meant a short exposure. I hope you like.
Very pleasing image Andrew, but if you don’t mind an observation from yours truly, I believe that instead of the retaining wall giving a lead-in it kind of splits the image in two giving the viewer nothing to focus on. Shot a little to the left ( and I am sure you don’t mind getting your feet wet…! ) would fix that issue and at the same time reveal the hill, now hidden behind the tree.
Thanks Robert for the feedback. I realised after I got home and downloaded the image that the lead lines were not what6 i was wanting. Just another reason to go back to the Tops
