Spider Rock is deep in Canyon de Chelly Arizona. The view here is from the rim of the Canyon about 900 feet above the floor of the canyon. A truely wonderfull view. This image was taken with the Nikon D70 with the 11-18mm Tamron lens
Wow-how! Can these colours be real? Love the circular direction of the vegetation, and how background meets foreground – those sentinel foreground bushes appear to overlook an army of marching bushes below. Incredible scenary! Fabulous photo!
If anything the colours are even better in real life. The whole area is amazing and mooving in an almost religious way. Thanks for the comment
Very appealing photo. Congratulations! I’ve “snapped” a few of this vista, but never come away with anything this satisfying. I too am wondering what kind of “master’s touch” you might have invoked for this nice piece. Specifically, the almost burnished look of Spider Rock is intriguing.
I claim no special touch. The light was JUST right and the image just worked. The entire view was astounding. I am very happy that you like the image. Thanks for stopping and having a look.
