A view taken from the old mine workings at Capplestone Gate looking South down Wharfedale towards a distant Flasby Fell. In the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Excellent Andrew i thought you might hasve avoided the snow this year send it out here we have a heat wave here in Victoria and it is not pleasant.
Regards Dave.
Thanks Dave. We’ve had a really mild winter so far, barely even a frost… until this week and if the forecast is right we’re in for a big dump of snow over the weekend!!

superb shot Andrew….this is Wharfedale as I love it…looks cold and slippery too
Thanks James, surprisingly it wasn’t anywhere near as cold as it looks, the snow was a fair bit deeper than I was expecting though!
