Embsay Crag #2 by

Another view of Embsay Crag, near Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales.
This was taken just a bit further down the path from my last shot, but the wall here was better positioned to make a good foreground. The footbridge in my last shot is close to the group of trees in the middle distance, and Embsay reservoir itself is on the right of shot.

I definitely recommend viewing this one large. :)

    Fantastic view, composition and colours.

  • Thanks Paul, I think this probably my favourite of all the ones I took on this trip. :)

Good shot Andrew but it appears to be still freezing up on the Dales,we have got days of Forty degrees at the moment and it is not pleasant

  • Thanks! Forty is definitely a bit on the warm side for me, give me a crisp, frosty morning anytime, lol! It’s a bit milder now but that has brought grey skies and rain again, not great weather to be out and about with the camera. :)
