It is has been rather foggy lately around Rainhill so I have been out trying to get some nice shots.
I don’t have a particularly fast lens (The f/1.8 broke) so I was using my 18-55 kit lens.
Processed all in Lightroom 4 and looks so much better than straight from camera.

I’m a simple guy with a complicated mind. Even I have trouble figuring out what is going on inside.
Photography lets me express myself in ways that I love. It allows me to be creative and experiment. I might not be the best but I sure do love when I see my photography working.

    This is nicely done, Andrew. Even though it’s slightly blown out on the left, I don’t think it spoils the shot. Instead it gives it something of an other worldly feel . . . a bit like a portal opening from somewhere else!

    That is what I was going for with the blown out look. Because I took it handheld I underexposed it so as to not create any blur. So I decided to go to the other end of the scale and over expose an area.
