I met up with my friend Rachel to take some photographs tonight (21.11.2011) and as we were walking down this road a couple jogged past us, but as they went under this lamppost it looked really good. So I stayed where I was and got Rachel to stand in the correct place with her umbrella in this position.
I (stupidly) didn’t have my tripod with me so I had to take about 25 shots, each one was around the 1second exposure mark, so it was rather difficult to do freehand.
Edited in Adobe Camera RAW and Photoshop CS5 Sony NEX5 with 18-55mm lens & Hoya UV filter (taken free-hand ie. No tripod)
Nice catch! We forget the tripod at times….as you’ve shown, you can make up for it!
Thank you very much, Jordan! :) I do tend to forget my tripod quite a lot, or if I do have it I am not fast enough to set it up, so I don’t use it very much. I am glad that you like this!
