This is one of my best reverse lens macro shots that I have managed to get. To put it into perspective, this is the watch itself…
I am surprised about how much detail was picked up by using the reverse lensing, I never realised that there were so many imperfections on the hands.
I was in my bedroom when I took this shot, I wanted a very directed light source, so I closed my blinds and used my torch to light up the face. I have levelled it slightly to get rid of the yellow hue that was caused by the torch, but that wasn’t too much of a problem. I love the fact that the natural texture of the watch face has caused a slight ‘pencil sketch’ look.
