I love my watch, it is so thin (5mm) and beautiful. I wanted to have a very simple photograph to show it’s simple design. It hasn’t got a chronograph, an altimeter, thermometer or any of that stuff… It tells the time, and it does that perfectly.
The minute hand has a constant sweeping motion, moving very slightly every 7 seconds. I have worked that out at around 0.7° every time the hand moves… That is precision.
The face of the watch has a device, basically a solar panel, that used light to keep the watch running. It stores and uses this energy so efficiently it can keep the correct time in complete darkness for 6 months.
I wanted a close up photograph of this to show it’s detail but my current lens on the NEX5 wont focus so close, so I used a Sony DSC-W220
I hadn’t noticed until now, but this was taken at almost exactly the same time as this photograph…
http://www.redbubble.com/people/andrewberry/art... they were taken almost 4 months apart from eachother, creepy haha :P
