Kampong is Malay for village and these children lived in the kampong where our Amah lived in Singapore. We were invited to help her and her family celebrate Chinese New Year 1968.

  • I was playing a game called “What’s the time, Mr Wolf.” Do you know it. They boys kept saying whats the time Mr Wolf and I would reply diferent times each time they asked. This when they asked, I tuyrned round and shouted “DINNERTIME” and took a step towards them taking the picture at teh same time. Hence the laughing faces. It was great fun.
