Awesome shot and great composition

You know, i’ve never seen squid quite this way. Makes me want some good calamari. I am a bit peckish so that could be the reason. I love the slight colour range. An underlying hint of deep sea blue, as if from the memory of the now lifeless being. Ok, i am going a bit overboard but interesting none the less.

We see alot of these during the hockey season, here in Detroit (because of the Red Wings).
But, I have never seen any—up this close.

I don’t think it’s all that gross …
it actually resembles the bottom side of a bathmat (for a bathtub).
A very slimy, squishy, slighty oozy bathmat … I’d still step on it :<)
