I spent over an hour just watching the little silver-eyes from a short distance bouncing on the heavily laden cherry blossom branches. They appeared to be having so much fun… It was like watching children playing hide and seek, peek-a-boo or jumping on a trampoline… they darted to and fro, flying in from high and low flitting in and out of the blossoms… For me it is the small and simple things in nature that are such a joy to watch and observe and for a time I was totally lost in their beautiful little world amongst the blooms. There are times when I discipline myself to just put the camera down so that I can be in the moment and become one with nature. The hour went by so quickly and just before leaving I took a few shots to share with you. Best viewed large…
