Vanilla And Cream!! - White Daffodil - NZ

Artist's Description

For many people, the word “daffodil” brings to mind a golden flower. Daffodils come in many shades of gold and yellow, it’s true, but that’s just the beginning. There are pure white daffodils, white daffodils with yellow cups, yellow daffodils with white cups, white daffodils with pink or orange cups, yellow daffodils with orange or red cups. Daffodils also vary in flower shape, bloom time and height. Neither deer nor rodents of any kind (squirrels, voles, woodchucks, gophers) will eat a daffodil because all parts of the plant contain alkaloid chemicals that are very bitter and can be toxic if eaten. Even in a landscape that is ravaged by deer and overrun with rodents, the daffodils will grow and bloom unmolested. Daffodils are perennial they will bloom spring after spring for many years in the right conditions. One of the first flowers to bloom in spring, another daffodil to add to the collection.
