Have No Fear I'll Be Gentle! - Child & Horse - NZ by

Little Jamie touching their new horse for the first time, what a magical moment to be there with the camera as he reaches out to this gentle giant.
It is wonderful to watch young children with their first encounter of a gentle giant, at a certain age they don’t register fear, they simply focus on what is on their mind and they go for it… there is nothing else, only their focus.
Infants have three basic innate fears: of sudden motion, of loud or abrupt noises, and of sudden approach. Toddlers and preschoolers gradually outgrow these as they learn to interpret their environment and to develop a sense of trust. But as they grow older they will experience other kinds of fears in life.
The No. 1 fear in adults, teens and older children is the fear of public speaking. This may develop for a number of reasons and may be difficult to eliminate, but most adults can master it if they have learned at a young age to face their fears directly.

Have No Fear I’ll Be Gentle!

Love Is In The Air!!

Reflection In A Golden Eye

My fascination with birds began as a child and almost 50 years down the track my love for our feathered friends has not diminished. Once we moved to Tranquillity (our little country retreat) my passion for birds, all nature and wildlife became a digital reality through the lens of my camera.
