You may Kiss the Bride…
The kiss that seals the wedding is much more than a sign of affection. It has long been a token of bonding and the exchange of spirits as each partner sends a part of their self into the new spouse’s soul, there to abide ever after.
We can thank the Romans for the ceremonial kiss at the end of a marriage ceremony. Under Roman law, a kiss was legally binding. Therefore, when the newlyweds share their kiss on the altar, what they are really doing is sealing the deal.

My fascination with birds began as a child and almost 50 years down the track my love for our feathered friends has not diminished. Once we moved to Tranquillity (our little country retreat) my passion for birds, all nature and wildlife became a digital reality through the lens of my camera.
