I love this portrait. Well, to be honest I love ALL your portraits. I’d like to comment on something no-one else has mentioned and that is the waves. Although they are stylised they are actually quite realistic (I know that seems to be a contradiction of terms but I know what I mean and I am sure you’ll understand too) and the way they reflect the yellow in the sky is a really nice touch.

WOW. You’re the only one who has commented on those waves. You know, I always liked the way the waves turned out in this picture. They are very stylized, you’re right, and they almost form a pattern, but Gee, I enjoyed drawing them. I have to feel them, then they just work.
