Brilliant. I’ve been reading those quotes and I like this one particularly: “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”
At church I have often heard a preacher say, “Hate the sin, love the sinner” and I assumed it was a modern Christian saying … interesting to know it was Ghandi. I read once that Gandhi had a drawing of Jesus hanging in his room.

Yes, how wise was Ghandi? He was absolutely correct when he said, ‘you must not lose faith in humanity’, for if you do, in my opinion, you lose faith in yourself as well.

Commenting on your above comment … I agree with you … Christ taught, “love your neighbour as you love yourself” ... so logically, if you don’t love yourself, how can you love your neighbour.
