A plea.

As people, armed with fancy and expensive cameras, and even more expensive lenses, we have the responsibility ,to accurately document and to preserve native flora images, as a matter of historical and botanical record. Accurate representation should be paramount .Photography has the ability to transgress the boundaries between art and science. The final work or image, should not only be aesthetically pleasing to the eye but also provide accurate representation of the flora. Botanical standards have to be considered in order to provide an exact record of the distinguishing characteristics.Producing something that hardly looks natural with a bilious combination of colours, is misrepresenting the true nature.A multicoloured style is hardly natural. Please leave alone the native flora,or, clearly state ,that you have taken it upon yourself, to alter the original beyond recognition using the photoshop.
