You Know What They Say About Assuming

You think you know my weekend.
You imagine my stupid pranks,
My wasted parties,
My red-eyed clouds of forgetfulness.

You don’t think of me watching movies,
Or staying in on the phone ‘till two.
You never dream I don’t live my life
The way you say I do.

Because the masses can’t be wrong
And the crowd has to know,
Because if I’m not bad and immoral
Then what face do you show?

So don’t you dare
Pretend to know what I do.
And don’t you dare
Pretend to know who I am.

You assume I’m a mess
Because my nose is not up in the air.
Get off your damn high horse;
Save your judgment for people who care.
