A pair of sad and neglected old tractors at Kinloch, on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in south island, NZ. I always find it sad to see what were once prized possessions/work tools just shunted off into a corner and left to die or rot.

I imagine these two would have been used to pull boats from the water, haul stores to the lodge and few dwellings there etc in the years before the road got through (1950s from memory – prior to that all by boat on the lake).

I have a mono version of this too, not sure which I like best so I’ll post them both.

In the late 1970s I completed the 2 years of a 4 yr Professional Photography Cert at TAFE, but was defeated by the physics of lenses.
In 2004 I bought my first DSLR & now shoot full time with medium format digital and professional Canon DSLRs.
I provide tuition to small groups via photography workshops for small groups (max 5) and Photoshop PP classes, and conduct small group photography tours to Australian & (soon) NZ destinations.
