Rambunctious Raymond the Oriental Cross and master Yoda the Cornish Rex often have a wrestle. On this day it turned into a stand up affair that was akin to dancing. I have quite a few frames and will do the sequence one day.

In the late 1970s I completed the 2 years of a 4 yr Professional Photography Cert at TAFE, but was defeated by the physics of lenses.
In 2004 I bought my first DSLR & now shoot full time with medium format digital and professional Canon DSLRs.
I provide tuition to small groups via photography workshops for small groups (max 5) and Photoshop PP classes, and conduct small group photography tours to Australian & (soon) NZ destinations.

It looks like they’re having a disagreement about who should lead! I think the Rex is winning, though.! Great shot!

Interesting, claws don’t seem to be out which is fortunate for the Rex because they are so easily scratched.

  • The Rex (Master Yoda for his big ears) is the one who always starts it, Lorraine, he is one fiesty little cat! But it is mostly play fighting, I think, and Raymond (the Oriental x DSH) is a lovely cat.

Our master is a Devon Rex, and I sure know what you mean by fiesty, if our little man loses his cool with you when you are sitting on the floor , you know you have to get up in a hurry so you are taller than him LOL, nevertheless he is the most beautiful cat I have known and we all love him so much.

  • They are gorgeous, I love it when he is in cuddle mode

It doesn’t look like Raymond is whispering sweet nothings into Yoda’s ear…
The sequence will be interesting to see!

  • He looks so fierce because Yoda BITES the other cats – Raymond thinks if you get in first you might come off better!
