Another beautiful dawn shot from my trip to NZ in May 2010. Looking south from the boat launching ramp at Kinloch, at the head of Lake Wakatipu.

(2 shot panorama, Hasselblad H2 + Phase One P20 back, HC 80mm f/2.8 lens – f2.8, 1/160, ISO100)

In the late 1970s I completed the 2 years of a 4 yr Professional Photography Cert at TAFE, but was defeated by the physics of lenses.
In 2004 I bought my first DSLR & now shoot full time with medium format digital and professional Canon DSLRs.
I provide tuition to small groups via photography workshops for small groups (max 5) and Photoshop PP classes, and conduct small group photography tours to Australian & (soon) NZ destinations.

Greg, it is the most exquisite spot, and just nearby there are the Routeburn and Paradise areas with the most beautiful primeval looking beech forests. To get to Paradise you cross the River Jordan and pass Arcadia!
