Anna-Marie- it is a beautiful and dramatic tribute xxx
His personal story struck me, and I thought it spoke enough to hold its own in an Acrostic that others might also come to know of his story still so relevant to us today. I think it helps demonstrate the call for poets, writers and artists alike to do so for a cause that one day they might influence change or at least highlight the plights of those involved. Thankyou for your kindness of reading and commenting today – good to see you again!

Well done tribute Anna-Marie. Wilfred Owen was one of the subjects we studied in high school that really stuck in my mind. Hard not to.
It’s such a tragic story full and yet his art in the form of poetry lives prolifically in the minds of those who read and shows still today in the conflicts that continue. As we reach remembrance Sunday today, it is so difficult to think of both the losses on either side and those that live through this today or are connected in some way to those lost or suffering physically and psychologically. Tragic, our countries owe them so very much! Thanks for your welcme support!
