Mystical sights of fairy lights
Dim as mist rolls in
Towards the water where we stand
Enjoying virginal sin

My snow white horse he nudges me
As I stand in full length gown
Upset away from all the fuss
At peace way out from town

It is small pleasure I take to heart
The friendship I have with him
My horse, that does not answer back
Lets me snuggle close with chin

As we watch the heavy sky come down
To meet at waters edge
A pair of courting pure bright swans
Twist necks in loves delight

Dreams come and go but this I hold
As real could ever be
For just as darkness starts to lift
I saw my first fairy

She hid quick then was quite shook up
Moved fast was gone from view
But straining eyes she reappeared
Young fairy of the dew

I thought just then I saw a horse
Or unicorn maybe
And she in long white dress adorned
As fairest fair could be

That night as I went home to bed
In mirror I caught my view
I think I brought my fairy home
So lovely pure and new
