Come for a stroll down Boulevard d'Evangeline

I know I haven’t put up any new uploads for a while. Forgive me. But now, thanks to a Christmas present that has been on my wish list for 18 months—the beautifully designed LIDE 600 Scanner by Canon—I can bring you patient folks something that is almost as good.

I will be scanning in some of my old pieces (we’re talking 1992 to 1994 here!) and gradually uploading them to the Bubble. This is work that I was very proud of when I created it; work that tided me though a very turbulent but creative time in my life. Work that has literally had blood and sweat and tears shed over it.

Even though I see clearly now things like, oh, certain liberties that I took with human anatomy, I can still look proudly on this body of work and recognise who I was and who I’ve become.

My friends, I hope you enjoy taking this trip with me. The first piece I would like to show you, was created in ballpoint pen in 1994, and is called Strange Fish Girl.

Xo Angie

P.S. You may ask, Why a boulevard? Well, memory lanes are much too narrow for what you’ll be seeing from me!
