It was a compliment.
Its nice to see someone throw away the rule book every now and again.
For instance-
This image is extremely unbalanced, everything is happening on the right, nothing at all on the left.
You have abandoned the rule of thirds, with 60% sky, 35% water and 15% land.
The sun is tiny.
And its a little underexposed.
But it WORKS.
This could have easily been just another sunset and jetty shot (if you had chosen to do it) But you had the “Balls” to open up the vista, and let us truely believe we are right there with you…standing on the shore.
This is what art is all about… pushing the bounderies… trying new ideas and techniques.

Oh Crap! There’s rules! I read every page of my d50 manual and didnt see this! LOL Blame it on my Scott Kelby book that says think out side the rules…..LMAO….I just kept seeing this one flash as a screen saver and really liked it. Thank you so much for the edumecation:) after all that..LOL Glad it worked for you…whew…LOL:)
